Chemistry at Huddersfield has deep roots. Our teaching and research dates back to the 1840s, when we were a centre for colour chemistry, supporting the textile and dyeing industries in the area, so studying with us means you can get the benefit of all that tradition while setting your sights firmly on the future.

UCAS Tariff 120 points including a minimum grade B in Chemistry at A Level.
A level BBB including a minimum grade B in Chemistry. The endorsement for practical work is an essential part of Science A Level study, and is a requirement for entry to our degree course.
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) DDM in Applied Science. Alternatively a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care/Medicinal Science is acceptable but must be accompanied by an A Level in Chemistry at a minimum grade B.
Access to HE Diploma M: 45 credits with at least 21 in Chemistry.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme 120 UCAS tariff points from International Baccalaureate qualifications, including Higher Level Chemistry at grade 5.
