Course summary

As a research student within the School, you are affiliated to the department of your main supervisor, and will have access to the facilities and teaching opportunities from that department. You will usually follow a programme of study offered by your home department, in agreement with your supervisor. You will also normally (but not necessarily) have a 2nd supervisor in 1 of the other departments, depending on the interdisciplinary nature of your research. In addition, you can take modules from the other departments, as appropriate for your individual training needs and the needs of your project.
