The MSc Data Science and Artificial Intelligence will provide you with a deep understanding of cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence techniques and the practical skills to implement data analytics using AI. The rate at which we can create data is rapidly accelerating. Ranging from biomedical data to monitoring climate change, this sector has never been more important. The pace at which we produce data is rapidly outstripping our ability to analyse and use it. These enormous quantities of data hold the keys to success across many domains, and artificial intelligence can play a key role in understanding how this data can create positive change. Entry requirements

You’ll gain a strong foundation in data science and specialist knowledge in a particular field. We do not assume that you’ll have programmed before, but we do require a level of mathematical dexterity that is commensurate with having completed a numerate degree. A BA or BSc Degree at 2.1 level or above in a subject like computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or quantitative subjects like economics/finance. If English isn’t your first language, you will need an IELTS score (or equivalent English language qualification) of 6.5 with a 6.5 in writing and no element lower than 6.0 to study this programme.
