Course summary
This course is for individuals wishing to develop higher-level professional skills relevant to the electrical and electronic engineering sectors. The programme team uses a combination of traditional classroom teaching, open learning and research-based experiential learning, laboratory experiments and demonstrations, industry standard IT applications and group activities. The course comprises mandatory and optional units. The mandatory units are: Research Project Professional Engineering Management Further Mathematics Commercial Programming Software* Embedded Systems Students will complete additional modules selected by the course team; these are: Industrial Power, Electronics and Storage Further Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) *Subject to demand, this unit could potentially be substituted with a unit called “Industrial Systems”, which would automatically change the qualification title to BTEC HND in Engineering (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) If you have any specific questions about this course, please contact Dimitris Kakofengitis - Course Leader HNC Electrical/Electronic Engineering, email: [email protected]
