This Accounting and Financial Management t Master’s course is designed for those seeking higher level education and the opportunity to gain a solid foundation in functional accounting and contemporary finance topics, with the course aiming to improve your capability and understanding in the business world. Broad in its scope, this course is underpinned by practice-led learning designed to provide an overview of accounting and finance as it is actually applied in the world of business, ideal for those seeking managerial positions or budgetary responsibility. You will explore how financial markets operate and the financial strategies used by successful businesses, drawing on real-life case studies of companies and their financial accounts. Assessment method

This course will be assessed using a variety of methods which could vary depending upon the module. These include group presentations, reflective writing, written individual reports, written group reports, phase tests and examinations. The Coventry University Group assessment strategy ensures that our courses are fairly assessed and allows us to monitor student progression towards the achieving the intended learning outcomes. Assessments may include exams, individual assignments or group work elements.


Entry requirements

Applicants should hold a good honours degree 2.2 or above in a relevant academic discipline, such as business or finance related subjects. Applications from candidates with relevant experience will be considered on an individual basis.
