Course summary

LCCM’s MA in Creative Entrepreneurship is designed to help students focus, develop and launch new businesses in the creative industries during a 12-month intensive programme. The year begins with “Research & Academic Practice” and “Ideation & Testing” modules, which will see students conduct market research and test their ideas within their industry, and communicate their findings and reflections in written and spoken argument. In the second term students will build on their findings to produce a range of business planning and pitching documents, as well as investigate and reflect on a range of case studies related to creative entrepreneurship, leadership as well as their own professional sector. In the final term, students will undertake a major project, to be negotiated and agreed with tutors, which will act as a major contribution to the development and launch of their business. On this practical, project-focused MA Creative Entrepreneurship programme, you will build prototypes and business plans in a creative and academically rigorous university environment that offers excellent networking opportunities with potential collaborators, mentors and investors. Our small and interactive classes are designed to bring you up to speed with everything you’ll need in order to develop, manage and thrive as a creative entrepreneur, even if you don’t have any previous business experience. This master’s programme has a convenient teaching schedule that provides you with the flexibility to keep your regular job or to dedicate yourselves to building your business full-time. This is an ideal opportunity to turn your love of music or creative hobby into a career while pursuing a postgraduate degree.
