Furthermore, ensuring that employees develop professionally is essential for achieving competitive advantage, given that people are one of the key resources in any business. This degree focuses on the key role of people in a successful business. You will learn to understand the importance of the people behind the business and how they help the business prosper. Designed to give you a thorough grounding in core business skills and concepts, the degree provides you with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the key aspects of Human Resource Management, including how to source, develop, reward, and utilise employees to deliver strategic effect for organisations of all sizes and types.

Assessment method
We’ll assess your progress through a variety of methods from coursework, group assignments, activity-based assignments and exams. You can expect to part take in on-going problem-solving activities, projects and presentations. You’ll also be able to access support material through our ARU Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). All assignments are designed with your career progression in mind and give you opportunities to develop and improve transferable skills employers look for.

Applicants studying for other qualifications should contact ARU London to discuss their circumstances. We also welcome applications from mature individuals who can demonstrate appropriate, relevant work experience. All applicants are required to have at least 5 GCSEs at C/4 or above including English and Maths. Students whose first language is not English and who have not previously studied in the UK are required to have IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
