Our BSc (Hons) Computer Networks and Security (Top-up) course seeks to enhance your existing Foundation Degree or HND-level knowledge and skills, and expand your opportunities in the fields of cyber-security and networking. You’ll also have a choice of optional modules depending on your prior knowledge and experience, and personal preferences. We’ll also support you to gain vital academic and lifelong learning skills so that you are well prepared to research new technologies, apply your knowledge in new ways, and keep abreast of innovations and enhancements in the computer networks and security industry throughout your career.

You will need either a Foundation Degree (FdSc or FdEng) or an HND in Computer Networking & Security, Cloud Computing, Software Engineering, or a similar Computing-related course. If you do not meet the standard entry requirements, but have non-traditional qualifications and/or relevant experience, we will be happy to consider your application. You will be required to undertake an assessment to determine your suitability for the course. You will be assessed on your problem solving skills and your ability to participate in group work.
