Course summary
This diploma is a great way to introduce students into the world of Equine Sports Therapy. The course follows the same modules as the BSc (Hons) Equine Sports Therapy and so allows successful students to progress onto the degree. This Diploma takes you through finding out about the structure and function of the horse and then relates that to how the horse moves and how the natural gait may change when areas of tension are seen in the musculature. It also demonstrates how important it is to work as a team player alongside the veterinarian, farrier, saddle fitter, dentist and trainer to enhance and optimise the horses' wellbeing, body balance and performance. For those students that have a passion for horses and want to work in an evolving and progressive part of the industry this is definitely the pathway for you.
