If you already have (or expect to achieve) a Higher National Diploma or Foundation Degree (FdA) in a related subject area, you can top-up your existing qualification to a BA (Honours) in Business and Enterprise Management. This course is ideal if you are looking for a career at management level, as you'll be able to build on your employability and business skills and have plenty of opportunity to see the principles of business management in practice. About the course This course seeks to develop your existing knowledge, skills and experience and enhance your understanding of the global business environment. It is expected that you will have prior knowledge of a wide range of business topics. You may choose, to some degree, to specialise in an area of personal interest through research and assessments within certain modules. The course is vocational and rooted in an awareness of the practice of business management. This is underpinned by an understanding of the central and contemporary business theories that inform your understanding of the business world and your role in it. The course places a strong emphasis on getting you ready for the workplace and your future career. Skills developed are those which employers tell us they are keen to see in graduates: including presentation skills; report writing; problem-solving and analytical skills. On leaving the course, you'll be ready to embark on your business career or move it to the next level. Course modules include:

Modules
Students will study the following subjects: academic research skills; contemporary issues in business; business ethics; strategic business decision-making; dissertation; business in the economic environment; international marketing. Assessment is by a variety of methods including: case studies; examinations, assignments and a dissertation.
