Throughout this course, you will develop skills and knowledge in forestry or urban forestry. The course offers the opportunity to specialise in Forestry or Urban Forestry. Some of the topics are Forest Sciences, Forest Operations, Woodland Conservation, Silvicultural systems, Forest and Tree Ecology. You will gain experience working on Mensuration and Geographical systems, while developing an awareness of health and safety and environmental issues to modern forestry.

Admission to the course can also include applicants who have completed the Advanced Certificate in Forestry and Arboriculture. Mature students considering a career change are encouraged to apply. You should be 17 years of age or older to start this course.
