Course summary

This one-year top-up course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills that you will require to become a change agent and leadership figure in the sector. It will provide you with the necessary skills and attributes to gain graduate employment within senior management and leadership roles or progress onto postgraduate study. Many of our graduates have advanced to become the leaders and managers of the future with skills in entrepreneurship and creativity for the services and clients using Health and Social Care services. This course is available to any student who has completed the Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care at Blackpool and The Fylde College in the last 5 years.

Qualification requirements

Only applicants that have successfully completed the Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care, validated by Lancaster University, with Blackpool and The Fylde College are eligible to apply to this course. There is a mandatory requirement of a minimum of 4 hours a week of paid or voluntary work in an adult health care setting. and social care setting, proof of this place will be required before commencing the programme.
