Course summary

You’ll develop a creative approach to business that leads to true innovation in the business world and helps you to become an outstanding business leader. Approaching business problems creatively, you’ll develop a skill set for tackling complex issues based on a deep understanding of client needs, collaborative working, cross-disciplinary thinking, personal reflection and rapid prototyping of new ideas. Visiting guest speakers with a range of specialisms will enhance your knowledge. Study style You’ll be assessed through presentations, independent projects, essays and portfolio review, business cases and business venture proposals Through design thinking and practical exercises that build on theory, you’ll enhance your management and leadership capabilities and develop an entrepreneurial mindset. You’ll benefit from the expertise of committed and research-active teaching staff with excellent academic and business experience. At the master’s stage, you will complete a dissertation.

Professional or postgraduate qualification We will consider a comparable professional or postgraduate qualification Relevant work experience Relevant work experience will also be taken into consideration Management/supervisory experience Ideally you will have a minimum of two years’ management/supervisory experience; however, applications will be considered on an individual basis. IELTS 6.0 EU and international students need IELTS 6.0 overall (no less than 5.5 in writing and in any other band) or equivalent.


English language requirements

International students will need to produce evidence of an acceptable score on an approved English language test such as IELTS. We run pre-sessional English language courses to help you prepare for undergraduate or postgraduate study.
