This course offers study over a range of disciplines to help you develop skills to progress your career through employment or further education at degree level. This course is for higher technician’s electrical and electronic design, manufacture, maintenance, testing or fault finding. The course can be studied over two years as a top-up on completion of the Higher National Certificate (Electrical and Electronic Engineering).

You must have achieved an appropriate technician or craft qualification at Level 3 Diploma or similar, and have a good standard of literacy and numeracy skills. The most common eligible qualifications include A Levels, BTEC Extended Diplomas/National Diplomas and Access to HE Diplomas. Non-standard applicants for both full and part time modes of study will be considered based on individual merit and industrial experience relevant to the programme.
