Course summary
TEF Silver
Peter Symonds' College has opted into the TEF and received a Silver award.
The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA) is a work-based qualification suitable for those who are or wish to become professional managers i.e. the people who take the lead responsibility for projects, people, operations and/or services to deliver long term organisational success. It is applicable to professional managers from all sectors, the private, public or third sector – and all sizes of organisation. The Apprenticeship includes a BA (Hons) in Management & Business which has been written and is delivered by Peter Symonds Staff in Winchester and is validated by the University of Chichester. If you are studying for a Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship you will not have to pay course fees as these are covered by the new Apprenticeship Levy and your employer. Alongside your degree, to complete the apprenticeship you will have to compile a portfolio which evidences that you have met the apprenticeship standards. This evidence will largely be naturally occurring through assessments carried out on your degree programme and actual work carried out in your employment. Support will be provided to help you build the portfolio. You will also have an end point assessment carried out by the Chartered Management Institute. Apprentices must be in employment and be sponsored by their employer to complete the CMDA.
