Course summary
This course is for anyone who wants vocational experience while developing an extensive knowledge of sports management issues and concepts within the leisure industry. It will give you the relevant skills and abilities to work in the private, public or voluntary sector. You will also work towards coaching qualifications, a Level 2 gym instructor qualification and a safety steward qualification. In year 2 you will be required to undertake 120 hours of work placement.

Assessment method
Assessments include phased tests, reports, portfolios, practical activity, work logs, reflective writing and presentations.
