Our BSc Mathematics with Industrial Year will build on your passion for mathematics and challenge you across a broad range of subject areas. With a year in industry, you will open up a world of opportunity to apply your knowledge and gain work experience that will put you ahead when you graduate. Learn from our world-leading experts, develop critical and independent thinking in small group tutorials and we will help you become a successful mathematician. With analytical and problem-solving skills you will stand out in a highly competitive job market with our recent graduates securing positions in finance, management, computing and many other sectors including teaching and healthcare. This programme will help you learn to apply analytical, statistical and computational skills to formulate and tackle problems. We will support you to think logically, independently and imaginatively, equipping you to make the most of the opportunities ahead. In your third year you will go on your industrial placement, developing your mathematical as well as your computer skills. Then in your fourth year, you will return to the University and have a broad range of modules to choose from.
