Course summary

Are you curious about humanity’s deep past? Human evolution and biology, ancient cultures and languages, early civilisations and how heritage affects identity and politics today are just some of the topics you can study on our Archaeology course.​ Our course encompasses Archaeology, Assyriology, Egyptology and Biological Anthropology. Its flexibility means you can either specialise from Year 1, or opt for a broad start before concentrating on up to two subjects from the second year.
