Educating business students for over 35 years, this CMI and AACSB accredited course is taught by highly qualified lecturers and industry-savvy practitioners, boast numerous networking opportunities and compelling talks from guest speakers in a variety of different business disciplines. This course also offers the opportunity to remain on this broader-focused pathway or select a specialist field of business and graduate with a more specific degree title: Economics; Enterprise; Finance; Human Resource Management; Marketing, Operations & Project Management; International Business Studies.

Alongside the study pathways, in the second and final year of the course, you will have the opportunity to choose option units to further tailor your studies to your career aspirations. You can also choose to study abroad in year two, at one of our international partner institutions, and every student will enjoy 30-weeks in industry to build your CV, place your theory and skills into practice, and harvest a network of professional contacts.

Accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), this course carries a dual award, so you’ll graduate with a Business Studies degree and a CMI qualification; a Diploma in Management and Leadership.

In addition, depending on which specialist pathway you follow, your studies will be recognised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing (IDM), the Association of Project Management (APM) or the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

You will study a range of subject areas including management competencies, accounting & quantitative analysis; organisational behaviour & ethics, marketing, principles of business law, economics for business studies, understanding organisations & HRM, finance & business analysis, strategic management and organisational leadership. In your final year you can choose to specialise in a certain area of business on one of our pathways.
