There are no qualification requirements for this course.
Be employed or doing voluntary work in an Early Years childcare setting for a minimum of 12 hours a week.
Have the support of their employer or voluntary setting (unless self-employed, for example, child minders).
Have 2 GCSEs at grade C (or new grade 4) or better, which may include English language, (a written task for applicants without evidence of GCSE qualifications can be undertaken).
NVQ3/ CCLD in Early Years Care and education or an equivalent level three qualification for example DCE/NNEB or Advanced Apprenticeship
Be able to communicate clearly and accurately in spoken and written Standard English.
