This challenging Animal Management HNC course provides a good foundation for those students who have a real passion for working with animals, aiming to prepare participants for employment at supervisory level jobs within the industry. The qualification prepares you for employment allowing for the expansion of knowledge, understanding and practical skills essential for success in working life. This HNC course is also well suited for those who currently work in the industry and would like to further develop their skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to progress within the sector. Modules of study include animal husbandry, animal health and welfare, business environment and a research project. Teaching occurs both in the classroom and in the newly refurbished animal care centre and through planned fieldwork and trips.
