This is one of several subject combinations available in our BSc (Hons) Computing & IT and a second subject (Q67). With this joint honours degree, you can specialise in an area of computing and IT and combine it with either pure mathematics or applied mathematics, dividing your time equally between subjects.

Course details


This degree has three stages, each comprising 120 credits.
•You’ll start Stage 1 with two 30-credit computing & IT modules followed by two 30-credit mathematics modules.
Next, in Stage 2, you’ll study 60 credits in a specific area of computing & IT and follow this with a 60-credit module in either applied mathematics or pure mathematics.
Finally, in Stage 3, you’ll study a further 30 credits in computing & IT, plus another two 30-credit mathematics modules that complement your focus at Stage 2. You’ll conclude your degree with a 30-credit computing & IT project module.
