This course provides an intensive vocational training to prepare students for a sustainable professional career in stage management and theatre production or related entertainment and media fields. The course develops the individual’s qualities and transferable skills of communication, organisation, presentation and analysis necessary for employment. Strong emphasis is placed on learning through practice, with students becoming part of the creative production team within the first 6 weeks of starting the course. The students will be given the opportunity to work in a number of different venues including the school’s own theatres at both the Loughton and Southend campuses.

A level CDD
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) Entry requirements for students studying BTEC qualifications are dependent on subjects studied. Advice can be provided on an individual basis.

Applicants must be successful at audition, and achieve CDD at A-level or the equivalent in UCAS tariff points, to include 2 full A-levels. In addition all applicants require GCSE English at grade C or above (or equivalent). Note: all applicants are required to make an additional direct application to East 15 Acting School in order to arrange an audition.
