This is a new course, created in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University and unique to Chesterfield College. You will collaborate with other students and become part of a wide family of construction professionals from across the Sheffield City Region.
A significant part of the course involves three work-based units over two years. This requires sourcing a work placement or, if you are employed in a relevant role, can be completed at your current place of work.
This course is accredited by CABE (Institute of Construction and Building Engineers).
Successful completion of the foundation degree will enable you to progress directly onto the BSc (Hons) Building Engineering and Project Management (top-up) at Sheffield Hallam University. You can also access professionally accredited built environment awards at Sheffield Hallam University, including Construction Project Management.

One A Level plus 4 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above including Maths and English;
BTEC Diploma in Building, Construction or Civil Engineering;
Other relevant Access or foundation course qualifications;
