Vision West Nottinghamshire College (Vision University Centre Mansfield) has opted into the TEF and received a Silver award.

You want to top-up your foundation degree with an inter-disciplinary approach to the study of sport, which develops your ability to problem solve and use solution-based approaches to issues and concerns. This course applies what you learn to your practical environment, as work/volunteering experience is an important part of the programme.

Pedagogy and Sport (FdA progressors)
Analysis of Sport Performance (Fda Progressors)
Exercise Prescription (FdSc progressors)
Training and Performance (FdSc progressors)
*Some of the modules above will be assigned, based on whether your Level 5 qualification is a general sport background or sport science background. Module titles are subject to change.
Assessment will be based on coursework and will include a research project, written assignments, practical case studies and critical reflections. Some assessment will be work-related enabling you to apply your learning to a specific work-based context.

Points of entry
The following entry points are available for this course:
- Year 1
This course is designed for applicants who already hold a foundation degree or HND, and who wish to progress to a full degree.
Applicants should have at least 240 credits on a relevant foundation degree, with a minimum grade profile of 55%, or relevant HND with a minimum of a merit profile. We will consider applicants with other relevant Level 5 qualification (normally 240 credits) at merit grade, or equivalent.

We also normally require GCSE English language and maths at grade C/grade 4 or above: English and maths at Level 2 are essential requirements.
