Blackpool and the Fylde College has opted into the TEF and received a Gold award.
This innovative and highly vocational degree programme has been designed collaboratively with local, national and international employers to provide the knowledge, skills and qualification requirements for higher Engineering Design and R&D roles within the Automotive industry. The specialist nature of this programme provides graduates with niche skills that allow them to contend for positions with the Automotive industry’s highest profile employers within Automotive Research, Development, Manufacture and Quality Assurance. Our alumni have forged successful careers with companies such as Jaguar Land Rover, Ford Motor Company, Bentley, Lotus, M-Sport and Westfield Sportscars. Others have opted for postgraduate study, such as Lancaster University’s MSc Mechanical Engineering.

Only students who have studied the Foundation Degree in Automotive Engineering and Technology (Automotive) at Blackpool and The Fylde College and achieved a minimum of a Pass will be considered for this top-up course.
