Trafford College Group has opted into the TEF and received a Bronze award.
The programme offers training which is in line with the fundamental requirements of ORACLE and ADOBE (Vendor) programmes. The units studied will provide you with a range of technical skills such as Java, PHP, Net, C++, SQL. You will also learn other skills such as systems analysis, database design, web design and development as well as 2D/3D modelling and animation. Pearson has designed the specification working closely with employers to ensure students have the opportunity to engage in real life skills and knowledge that are needed within the computing workforce.
On this programme you will study the following units: Computer Systems, Business Skills for e-Commerce, Employability and Professional Development, Systems Analysis and Design, Web Design, Procedural Programming, Database Design Concepts and Object Oriented Programming
Assessments will be through a mixture of assignments, coursework and examinations.

Normally 4 GCSEs at grade C or above (or numeric score of 4/5 under newly reformed GCSE grading), including maths or English
An Access to Higher Education Diploma in relevant area
Related work experience will be considered in place of formal qualifications
