Our business studies degree offers the practical skills you need to work in project management, business development and finance.

Our degree in business studies teaches you the practical skills you need for a career in business development and management. Modules include business processes, project management, and economics for business. You will also have the opportunity to work with business professionals and/or local communities on live projects to gain more practical experience.

Students are required to study the following compulsory modules.

Year 2

•Management of Information Systems (30 credits)
•Operations Management (30 credits)

Year 3

Students are required to study the following compulsory modules.
•Small Business Development (30 credits)
•Managing Strategy (30 credits)
•Personal and Professional Practice 3 (SMS)

Students are required to choose 30 credits from this list of options.
•Final Year Project: Consultancy Project (30 credits)

Assessment method

Each course has formal assessments which count towards your grade. Some courses may also include ‘practice’ assessments, which help you monitor progress and do not count towards your final grade.
