The Higher National Certificate in Business is ideal for you if you are seeking a higher education qualification, training or an apprenticeship in the world of business. The HNC provides specialist business education over one year. You will gain a thorough grounding in the key concepts and practical skills required to progress into employment or continued undergraduate studies.
The course focuses on the skills needed to assess and evaluate competence and decisions in business and to effectively manage time, resources and organisational needs. You will also learn and implement how to best assess and reflect upon your own performance as well as how you communicate in a business environment. This qualification is designed to ensure that you build and improve your skills in management, analytical research, independent enquiry, reflective learning and creative thinking.

Additional entry requirements
