Tourism is now considered the largest industry in the world and this exciting course will develop your skills and give you the knowledge you need for a career in the dynamic and fast moving tourism sector. It is vocationally orientated and focuses on tourism in a national and global context. The programme includes case studies and study visits and will cover the sustainable planning, development and management of tourism resources, destinations and businesses.
The course is designed to equip you with the broad range of skills required by the tourism sector. The content acknowledges the diversity of tourism, helping you prepare for a variety of career opportunities in the public and private sectors.

• Dissertation / Project and PDP

Assessment is via examinations and coursework, including essays, reports and presentations.
