Modules include: Business strategy and organisation; accounting and finance for managers; operations management; business economics; the leadership challenge; strategic marketing; managing people at work; managing change and innovation. Optional modules: essential human resource practices; international business; international marketing; e-business; talking to teams; strategic financial analysis.

Assessment method

Assessment is entirely by coursework – so for example, students are required to produce reports, briefing notes, presentations and reflective journals, which help you build up a personalised portfolio of experience – tangible proof that you’ve acquired key business skills and knowledge and something we know that prospective employers find very useful.

Entry requirements

Applicants should have a good first degree (equivalent to a British second-Class Honours degree) or above in any discipline and three years' post undergraduate work experience. References are not required in order for applicants to submit an application. They are not usually required in order for a decision to be made but in certain cases applicants may be asked to provide a single academic reference at the request of the academic selector.
