University Centre at Salford City College has opted into the TEF and received a Bronze award.
The Higher National Diploma in Animal Management is a qualification with a minimum of 240 credits of which some credits are mandatory. HNDs are designed to provide a specialist vocational programme, linked to professional body requirements and National Occupational Standards where appropriate. They offer a strong, sector-related emphasis on practical skills development alongside the development of requisite knowledge and understanding. The qualification provides a thorough grounding in the key concepts and practical skills required in the animal management sector and is nationally recognised which allows direct progression to employment or further HE study. The course will be taught at our Eccles Centre where our brand new state-of-the-art Animal and Wildlife Centre is based.
