From the classics to contemporary literature and exploring the media, this course covers a huge variety of aspects of English. Whilst it is very much an academic degree, it is a course designed for the 21st century. We offer vocational aspects to this programme, with a strong emphasis on developing your writing and analytical skills which are applied to a range of media in a holistic way throughout your studies. There is also the option of a placement year in a relevant role to further broaden your experience and knowledge. This course may appeal if you are attracted to working in publishing, journalism, advertising, public relations, management or teaching.
