University of Birmingham has opted into the TEF and received a Gold award.
Studying the practical, theoretical and technical aspects of theatre in combination offers an unparalleled opportunity to explore and understand its relevance, considerations and practicalities. Our Department of Drama and Theatre Arts is a leader in the integrated academic and practical study of drama, performance and theatre arts. This BA programme will give you an excellent grounding in all areas of performance theory and theatre making.
First-year modules cover a broad base of the subject and are designed to introduce you to ways of studying at university. By the final year the modules you take will become more specialised and reflect the research expertise of the academic staff. More detailed module information can be found on the ‘Course detail’ tab on the University of Birmingham’s coursefinder web pages.
