Prepare for a career in business management, remember too that business studies will help you develop a range of transferable skills that will improve your employability in many different industries. This course covers a variety of business subjects so you'll get a good grounding in practical business knowledge following on from the HNC. By the end of the course, you'll understand how to respond to market forces and what makes businesses successful. You'll also learn the fundamentals of marketing, finance and e-commerce, as well as legal issues within business, all of which will serve you well as either a business employee or an entrepreneur.
Units covered in this course include: Decision making and strategy in business; Ethics; European business; European law and regulation; HR; and managing communication and information.

The following entry points are available for this course:
- Year 1
|A level||A* - E||If you don't already have a relevant HNC, you'll take the two-year course and start at HNC level. For the two-year course, you'll need a related Level 3 qualification, like an Access to Higher Education Certificate, or at least one A Level in a relevant subject at grade A*-C or more than one A Level at grades A*-E.|
You should have GCSE maths and English grade 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent.
