The overall aim of this one-year programme is to ensure that students coming from more varied backgrounds are enabled to succeed in acquiring a broad-based working knowledge and understanding of the physical and life sciences as they relate to of living organisms at all levels of organisation. This programme focusses on developing the core foundation of chemistry and numeracy needed for success in LIfe Sciences.

However an applicant with CCC at A-Level including biology plus GCSE chemistry may be considered in combination with a telephone interview.
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) DDM A relevant BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma with DDM
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme 30 points 30 points overall with 5, 5, 5 at Higher Level

A combination of IB Certificate plus other qualifications, such as A-Levels, Advanced Placement Tests or the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP), will also be considered.
