Acting Leeds City College

Undergraduate

The course will provide distinctive actor training. Through the complete preparation of performance skills and exploration of one's self as a practitioner, you will gain a thorough understanding of your individual attributes and how to bring that to the industry. You will study fundamentals of performance – such as classical theatre, Shakespearean theatre, naturalism, political theatre, postmodernism, circus, clowning, television, radio, and public speaking.

Our programme trains actors to a high degree of technical ability and flexibility, and develops individuality and imagination. Alongside the core disciplines of voice, movement and acting techniques, you will develop a range of creative and transferable skills that will encourage you to become an independent thinker and motivated artist.
