Tourism is one of the world’s biggest industries and this course provides excellent professional training with an international perspective that will give you practical and transferable skills.
Our International Tourism Management BSc(Hons) covers the environmental, sociocultural and economic impacts of tourism in both developed and developing destinations, alongside contemporary issues in the highly globalised tourism industry.
Your learning will be enhanced by field trips, which have included airside at Gatwick Airport and theme parks in the UK and overseas. You can also look forward to visiting industry guest speakers and opportunities to work on live consultancy projects with local attractions. The optional placement year allows you to build sector experience and management skills in the UK or abroad and gain a competitive edge in the graduate jobs market.
