You have an interest in working in or with education, but not in a teaching capacity. This course teaches a multi-disciplinary approach, including focussing on current influences on curricula, mentoring and coaching within the learner setting, learner motivation and understanding learner behaviour.

There is significant emphasis on assessment through coursework, as the programme requires students to explain and evaluate theoretical issues in the field of education and to apply their critical understanding of such issues in appropriate workplace settings. Assessment methods include presentations, essays and a dissertation.

The following entry points are available for this course:
- Year 1
This course is designed for applicants who already hold a foundation degree or HND, and who wish to progress to a full degree.
Applicants should have at least 240 credits on a relevant foundation degree or relevant HND. We will consider applicants with other relevant Level 5 qualifications.

Criminal records declaration (DBS/Disclosure Scotland)
We normally also require three GCSEs at grade C/grade 4 or above, to include English language and maths: English and maths at Level 2 are essential requirements.
English language requirements
