This will be an amazing opportunity to learn more about the industry sector and network with potential future employers. You will have an opportunity to undertake a work placement or internship through the AberForward scheme, which is a paid internship within Aberystwyth University as well as take a Year in Employment (YES) placement, which is a year long payed internship within external industries between your second and third year. We have a dedicated team within the Careers Department to assist you during both your application period and during your placement. Moreover, you can work and network with employers from a range of national and multi-national companies through our visiting speaker programme, and take part in International Exchange Programmes.

In your second year you will investigate Adventure Tourism and outdoor recreation, Destination and attraction management and International Tourism. This means that if your course requires 3 A levels at BBB, we will accept other grade combinations that are equivalent to the same number of tariff points. A minimum grade C or grade 4 pass in GCSE (or equivalent) English or Welsh is a requirement for entry to all our degree schemes. Level 3 KS/FS Communication may be acceptable in lieu of GCSE English or Welsh. For this degree scheme minimum grade C or grade 4 pass in GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics is also required. GCSE Mathematics-Numeracy is acceptable in lieu of GCSE Mathematics.
