University of Leicester has opted into the TEF and received a Silver award.
This is for you if you want to study the foundations upon which modern history stands, covering the great civilisations of antiquity and the nations that rose in the wake of their demise.
In your first year you will split your studies equally between ancient history and history. In your second year you will continue to balance your studies equally between the two subjects. In your final year you will delve into areas of greatest interest to you.
Assessment is through exams and essays, source analyses, group projects and presentations.
