Course details

Modules

In your first year you will split your studies equally between ancient history and history. In your second year you will continue to balance your studies equally between the two subjects. In your final year you will delve into areas of greatest interest to you.

Assessment method

Assessment is through exams and essays, source analyses, group projects and presentations.

Additional fee information

The tuition fee for home and EU students is reviewed annually and for the academic year 2018/9 it is £9,250. The fees for following years have not yet been decided but are likely to increase each year in line with inflation, subject to government regulations. The inflation rate used will be RPIX, which includes all the items in the Retail Price Index, excluding mortgage payments. For your information, the inflation rate used by the Government when increasing the tuition fee from £9,000 to £9,250 was 2.8%.
