Agriculture (Precision Crop Technology) Bishop Burton College

Awarded by: Royal Agricultural University

Feeding a growing world population from a finite area of land with fewer inputs is a major challenge. Agriculture therefore needs to use precision technology to apply inputs in the right quantity where they are needed, without polluting the environment. This programme gives students the knowledge, understanding and skills required to work at a management level in a precision arable farming production system. Work-based learning is an integral part of the programme, where you will be expected to apply the skills that you have developed in a real work situation. There is also an opportunity to customise your studies to your own career path by applying your research skills to a project that you are particularly interested in, which could also be related to your work experience placement.
