This programme consists of a 5-year undergraduate MBChB curriculum delivered through problem-based learning, supplemented with lectures, clinical anatomy teaching, training in clinical and communication skills and experiential learning on clinical placement. Clinical placements are in the acute hospitals and primary care settings of Lancashire and South Cumbria.

A level Chemistry and Biology are subject requirements at A2 level.

Three subjects taken at one sitting, after 2 years of study, plus a 4th subject at AS-level or EPQ. Minimum grades required: AAA (b)

Three subjects taken at one sitting, no 4th AS or EPQ. Grades required: AAA - A*AA (depending on individual circumstances)

Information:
GCSEs in nine separate subject areas, to include the following subjects: Core and Additional Science (or Biology, Chemistry, and Physics), English Language, and Mathematics; all at least grade B/6 attained by the end of year 11 and scoring 15 points or more from the nine GCSEs (where 7+ or A*/A = 2; B or 6 = 1).

Chemistry and Biology are subject requirements at A2 level. Only one of Maths or Further Maths will be considered at A and AS level. General Studies and Critical Thinking only considered as 4th subject. The Extended project qualification (grade B or above) may be considered in place of the AS level qualification in some instances.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme 36 points to include Biology, Chemistry plus one other subject at Higher level (required grades: at least 6,6,6 plus three further subjects at standard level (required grades: at least 5,5,5)

The tuition fees displayed relate to the 19/20 academic year. We set our fees on an annual basis and our 2020/21 entry fees will be announced later in the year. International fee for Medicine is £31,540.00.
