You will develop the knowledge and skills you need for a successful career in agriculture through a combination of academic study, practical classes on the College farm, work experience and study visits. This programme provides an in-depth understanding, not only of agricultural production, but of the essential economic, political and environmental issues which are shaping the future of the farming industry.

Crop and livestock production
Impacts of agriculture on the environment and sustainable production systems
Farm account and business principles
Advanced land-based business
Investigational project (student’s choice of topic).
