This programme brings together the opportunity to study for an LLB in Scots Law along with an in-depth, professionally oriented study of Energy and Oil and Gas Law. Dundee is a truly unique law school. We offer a modern, forward looking approach to learning and a rigorous preparation for the professional world, whether in the legal sphere or elsewhere.

Our Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP) is internationally renowned in the field of international business transactions and natural resources and energy law and policy. Our interdisciplinary approach to teaching, research and consultancy provides a unique perspective on how governments, business and communities operate, providing the professionals of today with the ability to meet the challenges of tomorrow. This new programme is an exciting addition to our series of fully qualifying LLB degree programmes.

Mathematics or a Science subject at GCSE Grade B / 6 or above is recommended
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) DDD in a relevant subject
Scottish Higher ABBB - AAABB Higher English at Grade B or above is recommended

Mathematics or a Science subject at National 5 / Intermediate 2 grade B or Standard Grade at grade 2 is recommended
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme 32 points 32 points overall with 6, 5, 5 at Higher Level. HL English at Grade 5 or above is recommended

Mathematics or a Science subject at subsidiary Level grade 5 is recommended

A combination of IB Certificate plus other qualifications, such as A-Levels, Advanced Placement Tests or the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP), will also be considered.
Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017) H2, H2, H3, H3, H3, H3 Higher Level English at Grade H3 or above is recommended

Mathematics or a Science subject at Ordinary level grade O2 is recommended
Scottish HNC Pass in Legal Studies / Legal Services with A in the graded unit
Scottish HND Pass in Legal Studies / Legal Services with AA in the graded units

Law with a Language applicants require SQA Higher at Grade B or GCE A Level at Grade B (or equivalent) in the appropriate language.
