This programme brings together the opportunity to study for an LLB in Scots Law along with an in-depth, professionally oriented study of Energy and Oil and Gas Law. Dundee is a truly unique law school. We offer a modern, forward looking approach to learning and a rigorous preparation for the professional world, whether in the legal sphere or elsewhere.

Our Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP) is internationally renowned in the field of international business transactions and natural resources and energy law and policy. Our interdisciplinary approach to teaching, research and consultancy provides a unique perspective on how governments, business and communities operate, providing the professionals of today with the ability to meet the challenges of tomorrow. This new programme is an exciting addition to our series of fully qualifying LLB degree programmes.

Mathematics or a Science subject at subsidiary Level grade 5 is recommended

A combination of IB Certificate plus other qualifications, such as A-Levels, Advanced Placement Tests or the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP), will also be considered.
Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017) H2, H2, H3, H3, H3, H3 including English at grade B

Mathematics or a Science subject at Ordinary level grade O2 is recommended

Additional fee information

Tuition fees for Rest of UK/Channel Islands students in 2018/19 for this course are £9,250 per year for three years of a four year Honours degree. This means you will only pay a maximum of £27,750. Tuition fees for International students are per year of study.
