University Centre Somerset - Bridgwater & Taunton College has opted into the TEF and received a Silver award.
This course aims to provide students with a higher education foundation in mechatronics with a work-based context. It links modules in electrical/electronic engineering and mechanical engineering to create a broad basis for further career development.
During the course you may study areas including:
•Design, Materials and Manufacturing
•Stress and Dynamics
•Mathematics for Signals and Control
•Design and Electromechanical Systems
The course is completed via a combination of lectures and laboratory sessions, where students will complete project work, written reports and examinations. Your studies will be conducted in our Energy Skills Centre at the main Bath Road Campus of Bridgwater & Taunton College.
