Through this course you will be looking at all aspects of Dance in the Performing Arts Industry. You will be refining your dance technique in styles such as Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Commercial alongside developing the skills that are an essential part of being employable in this industry. The course will look at three strands: Dance performance, Dance teaching and Dance in the Community with an option of completing the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) dance teaching qualifications DDI and . The course will be practical based but will also cover units which will enhance your analytical and reflective skills within this area. The aim of this qualification is to equip you with the skills to be successful not only as performer but also as a business where you can use the learnt skills to increase your employability within the industry of Dance.
