This degree is suitable for students with a foundation degree or HND in a relevant subject who would like to gain a full honours degree.

The course seeks to reflect current industry aspirations by combining more conventional Graphic Design subjects with the new emerging interactive disciplines. The programme provides the special skills needed for those who go on to work in such areas as Graphic Design, branding and advertising, web design and multimedia.

The College has a strong and successful record within media and creative arts. We have expert full-time staff recruited from industry, and visiting lecturers with established professional standing. We strongly encourage and support links to employment and industry, and provide a module for students to engage in work placement in year 2 of the course.

The course is assessed mainly by a variety of industry related in-course assignments and is delivered by specialist lecturers who seek to help students achieve their potential in a friendly supportive environment.

The Graphic Design Top Up is the perfect area to study if you are looking to further your skills or retrain in the commercial creative industry from an HND qualification. This course has been set up to provide you with the opportunity to gain a full BA (Hons) degree qualification in the rapidly expanding world of digital Graphic Design.

In addition to taught modules, a final year project will allow students to choose a topic to investigate in greater depth. Recent examples have included Packaging Design, Branding, Publication design, Web & App interface design.
